Video Production Company in Nottingham
First Last Film is a video production company based in Woodbridge, Suffolk, working in London and across the UK, and we've filmed in Nottingham for Rubicon Partners. If you were looking for a videographer in Nottingham, we direct, shoot and edit our own films, and the rest of the crew comes in as the brief needs it.
A Nottingham shoot is a planned day with the travel on the quote as its own line, so you'll know what it adds before anything is agreed.
Filmed in Nottingham
Rubicon Partners is a private equity firm, and we make testimonial films with the companies it backs. In Nottingham we filmed with Avove at its Hucknall Lane site. Avove is a utilities engineering company that works from design through to commissioning, keeping water running, fibre connected and power reaching homes.
Avove was carved out of a larger owner, and in the film its leadership talks about what that took and what Rubicon has brought since, including a much sharper focus on cash. The advice at the end is direct: "sit down and talk to the Rubicon guys first." The film gives Rubicon a reference that a management team thinking about private equity can hear first hand, and it's typical of the testimonial video production we do.
What we'd make for a Nottingham business
Nottingham has two big universities and large employers in retail, healthcare and financial services. A lot of what those organisations need explaining is complicated, and explainer video production is how you get a product, a process or a research project across in two minutes.
The other common starting point is promotional video production, a short film with one job to do, such as filling an open day or launching a service. The video production services page has everything else we make.
How a Nottingham shoot works
The planning happens on calls before anyone travels, so by the time the crew drives over the shoot day is already mapped out. Travel goes on the quote as its own line, and if an early start means staying the night before, the hotel's on there too.
The editing happens back in Suffolk, and you review the cuts online. The video production cost page shows what films cost at each budget before travel, and if you're further north, there's a page on video production in Leeds.
More films of this kind are on the promotional video production page.
